1.Corners_Goal 2: First 4 Corners, Reposition Yellow Corners As Needed

While each Corner has three colors, so far we have only been paying attention to Yellow, and bringing that color to the Top face of the Cube. Now you will look at the other two colors of these Corners, and see if the colors match on the other sides of the Corners. (Just a reminder, we are still ignoring all pieces except for the four Corners you are currently working on.)

DEMONSTRATION:

SETUP:

Either they will all match to each other (congrats, you can skip to the next step), or none of them match (in which case it doesn't matter how you position your cube to proceed, but you will end up doing this step twice), or one of the sides match.

Keeping Yellow still on the top with these four Corners, If one of the side colors match, position your cube so that the matching color is facing the back away from you. If none of the side colors match, after you have done this step one side will match.

PLACEMENT:

Do Formula B.

Now without rotating the cube, at first glance it appears you have undone your previous work. This is not the case.

Use Formula A to bring Yellow back up to the top as before. Because all four of the Yellow Corners are already on the Top Row of the Cube, you don't have to examine to see if they are where they can be acted upon. When Yellow is on Top Face, as before slide the top until an incorrect piece is in the top-front-right position and continue with Formula A to bring the Yellow Up.

RESET:

When all four Corners have Yellow on top again, return to SETUP above, and reassess how the cubes relate to each other regarding matching sides.

Repeat this step as needed until the Top four Corners are correct in relation to each other, matching the side colors of the Yellow Corners.
