SANDRA WORKMAN

(Getting photos done soon XD this is not me.)

Call me Sunshine!

The cube has been Sunshine's passion since 1981 when it first came out. She may not have been the first kid on her block to get a Rubik's Cube, but she was the first one to solve it!

That was when her love for teaching the cube began to blossom.

She's loved the cube in all its forms, and in 2020, she published her ABCube method for solving any cube, and gained global recognition for it, and is now cited as a credible source on Wikipedia.

She recently moved to Salt Lake County, and looks forward to teaching students here as well!

SHORT BIO

Sandra Workman got her first Rubik’s Cube in 1981 at the age of 15. She spent 5 years developing a simple method to solve any complexity cube at any skill-level.

LONG BIO

Sandra Workman got her first Rubik’s Cube in 1981 at the age of 15, and could eventually solve it in under 5 minutes. After seeing Jeff Varasano solve the Rubik’s cube in 24.67 seconds on TV, Sandra was so sulky she didn’t touch the cube for a month. Luckily for beginners everywhere she couldn’t resist the cube and spent 5 years developing, simplifying, and publishing the ABCube method: a simplified method for any sized cube, and any skill-level. Her work (particularly on the 5x5x5 Professor’s Cube) gained her notoriety in the Rubik’s Cube community which sources her work on Wikipedia. Sandra now shares the joy of the cube by teaching the ABCube method online and IRL, and is available to speak at events where she shares the life-lessons that the Cube has taught her.
